Many professionals believe that 30 minutes of physical activity at least five days a week is beneficial to our health and fitness.

Lack of physical exercise can drastically increase your chances of cardiovascular disease. It is believed that you are 46% more likely to die from any cause for adults who spend at least four hours a day watching TV, plus 80% chance of death of cardiovascular disease.

The body loses its strength and ability to function well without regular exercise. People who fit and at a healthy weight live about 7 years longer than people who are obese and not physically active.

Exercising every week helps lose weight and also maintain a healthy weight. Your muscle strength will increase meaning you can get heavier but allows you to do more activities.

As listed before exercise does help to release tension and depression. It will also, help you manage stress, promotes enthusiasm and boosts energy levels on a daily basis. Your own self image will be improved making yourself happier with yourself everyday.

Other benefits

Increasing your weekly exercise routine will help you with addictions you may have. This includes drinking and smoking, exercise will find a way to replace these addictions in your life.

Physical activity also helps you sleep, making you fall asleep quicker and fall into a much deeper sleep.

Exercising affects the children in your life. Children will see parents, uncles and aunties, even family friends enjoying a happy, healthy life and will want to follow in their steps. If a child enjoys exercise early they are more likely to keep it going into adulthood.

Physical exercise has more benefits than just physical, it greatly improves your life on so many levels.
